About Me
I’m Alex Bean, a software engineer and co-founder building AI systems and developer infrastructure.
I co-founded R0GUE, an engineering company working at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and secure systems. My work spans AI agent systems, developer infrastructure, private AI platforms, and open-source tooling.
I was at Parity Technologies for two years, supporting teams building on Polkadot and building tooling, proof-of-concepts, and technical content in Rust and TypeScript. That also included running workshops and mentoring at hackathons across Europe and Latin America. Before that, three years at Validated ID working on VIDchain, one of Europe’s early SSI and Verifiable Credentials platforms, including a mobile wallet for Android and iOS. My career started at GIRT Mobile in Galway (Ireland), building production software for financial organizations.
I have a Master’s in Blockchain Technologies from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and a Computer Science degree from the University of Zaragoza.
